Halloween Decor and some silly kids...

Let's start with some Salsa...ummm!

I diced up:
a bunch of plum tomatoes
one jalepeno
a handful of cilantro
one garlic clove
1/2 a Vidalia onion
one red pepper

then I added some black beans and corn
a tsp of lime juice
and it's all been marinating in the fridge
to really meld the flavors...I'll let you know how it turns out...
smells delicicious!!

Emma did Ms. Madi's hair this morning...all about the bows!!

Miss Emma lost her front tooth.  I think she swallowed it because we can't seem to find it????
She makes a perfect Jack-o-lantern now....and the other one is loose too!!

GOODWILL FINDS

aren't these cute?  I'm going to put my hand sanitizer in them because I hate the generic bottles
it comes in.  They aren't vintage or anything..just look like it!

Halloween outside our house

Now, I've decorated before for halloween, but yesterday I wanted to make more little vignette's.
I re arranged things and this stands at our back door...
our cute little pumpkin man, some mini mums, pumpkins and gourds, and a spider lantern.

Miss Emma and her toothy grin!

Mr. Jacob with "what face is that?"

Dracula!!

The sign defines us SO well!

Jacob loves lights.  Any lights...strung up lights, you name it.
I promised him I'd light up the deck yesterday...
so a few strands of Christmas lights gave our deck
a little magical glow.
(i kind of love it too!)

More Goodwill Finds

cute crock, tall glass jar and a sweet little Halloween plate!

Inside the house....

My repainted Goodwill drysink features my dollar store candlesticks painted black with beeswax candles..
painted muslin candy corn....and some pine cones from the yard..

I love my "Halloween" sign.  I got it at the Christmas Tree Shoppe last year.
Sigh....there's none here in Statesboro! A few little pumpkins and witches, then my good old
pumpkin candy buckets stacked up top.  The orange flowers have big eyes glued in their centers!

Our Halloween Mantle...

I love my new witch shoes!  The pumpkin was made by
my oldest son's grandmother one year when he was little...

I love these little wood pumpkins...I've had them for a long time!

Boo banner I made last year and love my window clings!!

Hope you had a happy, yummy weekend too!
